News: IDA, Guardian, Medicine Shoppe and Remedy’sRx pharmacies partner with Tia Health to offer virtual care services

IDA, Guardian, Medicine Shoppe and Remedy’sRx pharmacies have announced a new partnership with Tia Health to provide virtual care for patients and customers. In addition to providing enhanced care services to patients, the partnership will facilitate access to prescription medication delivery or pick up through over 2,000 IDA, Guardian, Medicine Shoppe and Remedy’sRx locations.

“Canadians are looking for simple, safe, and trusted access to virtual care and telemedicine,” said Rebecca McKillican, Chief Retail Officer, McKesson Canada. “Together with Tia Health, we’re focused on offering an easy to use platform with access to innovative care solutions to our customers and patients.”

Residents of OntarioAlberta, and British Columbia can receive free access to virtual healthcare services with a valid health card. For those who live in other provinces, Tia Health offers the lowest pricing across Canada.

“Today’s announcement enables more patients to benefit from the continuity of care we offer on Tia Health as we work together to improve care quality and access,” said David Del Balso, CEO of Tia Health. “Together with IDA, Guardian, Medicine Shoppe and Remedy’sRx we will be able to provide end-to-end care to Canadians from the comfort and safety of their own home.”
