
Do you know someone who is a candidate for the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy Pillar of Pharmacy Award?
CFP is now accepting nominations for the 2017 recognition, with a deadline of January 20, 2017 to submit a 1-2 page entry describing what your nominee has contributed to the profession of pharmacy.
Here’s what you need to know to make a submission:
Criteria:
Normally only awarded once per year.
Has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to the profession of pharmacy.
Candidate has been actively involved in one of the four disciplines represented on the CFP Board (direct patient care pharmacy, academic pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy associations).
Candidate is recognized within the profession.
Candidate will be selected by the board of directors of the CFP.
Application Process:
Please provide a biography of the individual that is 1-4 pages in length.
Describe how the nominee has demonstrated leadership and innovation in
the profession of pharmacy.
Outline how their activities and efforts (eg., committees, volunteer work,
advocacy, etc) have contributed to the advancement of the profession.
What has their overall impact been on the profession – locally, provincially
and nationally?
